Competition
The buildings have simple and linear shapes and follow the urbanistic idea to keep the view to the west to Castel Firmiano and Penegal thanks to the moderate height of the buildings. This gives the square an atmosphere like a terrace on the landscape of the surrounding hills and mountains, while it is closed towards the side of via Resia with its traffic.
The square is divided in three spaces, each connected with one of the three buildings around it and with the entrances to each of them.
